UPSCALE ART GALLERY GIVES NEW MEANING TO POP UP SHOP
Georgia’s never seen a pop up shop like this before! The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art is launching its inaugural show house project this May, a home adjacent to a house of another kind: an art and jewelry gallery. For just three weekends, an upscale collection will be galleried in a beautiful historic home and available for sale, with 30% of proceeds benefitting the nonprofit art museum. “The committee reviewed over 250 pieces of art and jewelry and based our selection on each piece’s beauty and uniqueness,” said Anna Arnold, Lawrence House Art & Jewelry Gallery chair. “All submissions were exceptional and although the decisions weren’t easy, we are very excited about the final collection. Rotary of Marietta and Marietta Kiwanis “Easter Sunrise Service” Event
Join us Easter Sunday for our annual Easter Sunrise Service event. Johnnie Gabriel and friends will put “the finishing touch” on the one-of-a-kind Art & Design Show House with a champagne toast and cooking demo on Sunday, May 22, benefitting the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art. To Benefit the YWCA of Northwest Georgia And Local Charities of The Rotary Club of Marietta on April 16th The YWCA of Northwest Georgia and the Rotary Club of Marietta will co-host the Y Not Run! 5K Road Race and a one-mile Skirt Run on Saturday, April 16, 2011, in Marietta.
